EMISSIONS REPORTING

IMO DCS, EU MRV and CII data from daily vessel reports.

Noon, arrival, departure and bunker reports join the itinerary; annual IMO DCS, EU MRV and CII views are calculated from the same data. Missing data shows up as warnings before submission.

THE PROBLEM

Sound familiar?

  • Daily reports arrive by email and are copied into spreadsheets by hand
  • Reconciling fuel and distance at year end takes weeks
  • The CII rating is only known after the year is over
  • Missing BDNs and ROB figures surface during verification

PROCESS

How it works

  1. 01

    The ship reports

Officers enter noon, arrival, departure and bunker reports — even offline.

  2. 02

    The office checks

Wrong reports are never deleted; they are amended or voided with a reason.

  3. 03

    Freeze at year end

The finished year’s DCS, MRV and CII report is frozen; re-freezing creates a new version.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does Pelastra submit the official reports?

No. Pelastra prepares DCS, MRV and CII data, shows warnings and freezes the report; submission to the verifier and THETIS-MRV follows your own process. The summary PDF is not an official filing.

Are EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime supported?

Not at the moment. EU MRV data is the foundation for those calculations.

How reliable is the CII figure?

The in-year rating is indicative; the official rating is settled once the year ends and data is verified. If particulars such as DWT are missing, no rating is calculated and the reason is shown.

Can we correct past reports?

Yes, with a reason. Wrong reports are not deleted; they are amended or voided and the change stays on record.
