In short
Pelastra does not track you. We use no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no analytics tools. Everything we store in your browser is either strictly necessary to keep your session securely open, or remembers a preference you have chosen (language, theme).
For that reason you will not see a cookie consent banner — consent is not legally required for such technologies, only information is. This text is that information.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser. Local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB) comprises other ways of storing data in your browser. All of them are subject to the same legal framework (the KVKK and EU ePrivacy Directive Art. 5(3)); in this policy we explain all of them under the heading "cookies and similar technologies".
2. What we use
2.1 Cookies

Offline data and the page cache are used only when you install the application on your device (add it to your home screen).
2.3 Analytics, advertising and social media cookies
We do not use them. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Ads, embedded social media buttons, chat tools and error-tracking tools do not run on the platform. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.
2.4 Third-party addresses your browser connects to
Even though they do not set cookies, in the following two cases your browser connects to an address outside Pelastra and your IP address reaches that address:
- Google sign-in: The "Continue with Google" button on the sign-in screen loads Google's script. Google's own cookies apply there; Pelastra does not set them and cannot read them. See policies.google.com/privacy
- Airline logos: The logos in flight information are loaded from pics.avs.io.
3. How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies and site data from your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Site data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
⚠️ Do this knowing the consequence: If you delete Pelastra's site data, your session will end. If you use the platform offline on board, your unsent records will also be deleted — first connect and make sure your records have been sent.
When you sign out, your session information and readable offline data are deleted from your browser automatically.
4. If this policy changes
If we add a new tool to the platform that uses cookies or a similar technology, we will update this policy first. If the added tool is not strictly necessary (for example an analytics tool), we will ask for your explicit consent before it starts being used, and it will not run unless you give that consent.
