Pelastra does not track you. We use no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no third-party analytics tools. Everything we store in your browser is strictly necessary to keep your session open and to protect the platform from attacks.
For that reason you will not see a cookie consent banner — consent is not legally required for strictly necessary technologies, only information is. This text is that information.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser. Local storage (localStorage) is another way of storing data in your browser. Both are subject to the same legal framework (the KVKK and EU ePrivacy Directive Art. 5/3), which is why this policy explains both under the heading "cookies and similar technologies".
Pelastra manages your session with local storage, not cookies. This is a technical choice and does not change your rights.
2. What we use
2.1 Strictly necessary — no consent required

Cloudflare cookies are part of our security infrastructure, used to protect the platform against denial-of-service attacks and automated abuse. They serve no advertising or profiling purpose.
2.2 Analytics cookies
We do not use them. No third-party analytics tool, including Google Analytics, runs on the platform.
2.3 Advertising and marketing cookies
We do not use them. No advertising tracker such as Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag or Google Ads is present on the platform. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.
2.4 Social media cookies
We do not use them. There are no embedded social media like/share buttons on the platform.
If you use the Google sign-in feature, you are redirected to Google's own domain during sign-in, where Google's own cookies apply. Those cookies are not set by Pelastra and cannot be read by us. See Google's Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
3. How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies and site data from your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Site data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
⚠️ Do this knowing the consequence: If you delete the site data stored for Pelastra, your session will end and you will have to sign in again. Because these technologies are strictly necessary, the platform will not work if you block them — this is not a restriction but a technical requirement.
When you sign out, your session information is deleted from your browser automatically.
4. If this policy changes
If we add a new tool to the platform that uses cookies or a similar technology, we will update this policy first. If the added tool is not strictly necessary (for example an analytics tool), we will ask for your explicit consent before it starts being used, and it will not run unless you give that consent.
