Prepared pursuant to Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform. 1. Identity of the data controller

Third-party data: If you add a reference to your profile, that person's first name, last name, company, position and phone number are processed. Informing those persons and obtaining their consent is your obligation.
3. Purposes of processing
- Creating your membership record, verifying your identity and managing your session
- Creating and updating your seafarer profile and sharing it with employers within the scope you select
- Storing your documents and tracking their validity periods to send you reminders
- Providing messaging, friendship and community features
- Providing content on developments in maritime legislation
- Providing paid plans and carrying out billing and accounting processes
- Ensuring platform security, preventing abuse and keeping audit records
- Responding to your requests and complaints
- Fulfilling legal obligations and responding to requests from official authorities
4. Legal bases (KVKK Articles 5 and 6)

For processing based on explicit consent, the Explicit Consent Text is additionally submitted for your approval. If you do not give explicit consent, only the relevant feature becomes unavailable; your membership and other features are unaffected.
5. Method of collection
Your personal data is collected electronically:
- through your direct entry on the platform,
- automatically from Google if you choose Google sign-in (name and e-mail only),
- automatically while you use the platform (IP address, browser information, operation records),
- by the relevant company if you are invited to a company account.
6. Transfers
Domestic
Our servers and database are located in Türkiye (İstanbul).
Your personal data is transferred to the employers you share a link with, through the share link you create and only to the extent of the sections you select. It may also be transferred to competent public institutions to the extent legally required.

Transfers are carried out on the basis of your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 9/6-a).
7. Your rights (KVKK Article 11)
By applying to the data controller, you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
- Request information if it has been processed,
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
- Know the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad,
- Request rectification if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
- Request erasure or destruction within the conditions set out in KVKK Article 7,
- Request that operations carried out under (5) and (6) be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred,
- Object to a result arising against you through analysis exclusively by automated systems,
- Claim compensation for damage suffered due to unlawful processing.
Application: You may submit your requests to [email protected] (from the e-mail address registered in our system) or in writing to Soğanlık Yeni Mah. Atatürk Cad. No: 13 D: 5, 34880 Kartal / İstanbul, Türkiye. Your application is concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest. If the operation additionally entails a cost, the fee in the tariff determined by the Board may be charged.
If your application is rejected or left unanswered, your right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board is reserved.
